THE Natural is not only a venture but it’s a dream of a specially-abled girl. Ankita started making Handmade Soap as a hobby and it has turned into a serious business. Fighting with the ups and downs and many odd situations that she has to face due to Cerebral palsy, she kept on learning new crafts. She attended a workshop on career opportunities for the specially-abled, making Handmade Soaps was one of them. She then learned soap making and got her certificate from Khadi Village Industries.
Ankita was joined by her mother Anjali Arvikar in her business. Anjali too has done her certificate course from Khadi, in the art of making Natural / Ayurvedic cosmetics. The Mother-Daughter team now runs THE Natural Cosmetics. THE Natural is ISO and GMP certificated enterprise. Apart from handmade soaps, THE Natural has a range of skin and hair care and lip care products.
